On tap at Whole Foods. Pours a clear dark golden/light brown color with quickly fading maple head that left light lacing. Aroma is sweet: maple syrup and oats, a vanilla note. Flavor is same, with a light woody bitterness that is not unpleasant.

Drop Off Service, NYC tap ($7): Pours reddish amber with a white head. Aroma is a lot of maple syrup. Taste is maple syrup too. However, this is not as cloying as some Canadian maple beers. Not bad body, but fairly meh. Good if you like maple.

12oz bottle -

This is the first beer where I got a full-on blast of maple goodness. Not sure how they got it there, but it was as strong and pronounced as a maple doughnut. One-dimensional but this aroma really pleases my senses. The maple flavor does carry thru in the flavor as well, but seems a bit overly sweet, even for me. Perhaps that’s the only way to get the maple flavor to carry through? Definitely a good beer and quite suprised.

This beer is dead on for maple oat taste. I am not much for sweet beers but this is really delicious. A pleasure to drink and very satisfying.

Aroma of maple syrup which is very mellowed to almost nothing in the flavor. Flavor also has some malty notes of oats, which has a bit of bitterness in the finish. Interesting flavor to say the least.
