The color is dark brown with a somewhat light fluffy looking off-white bubbles that doesn’t leave much lacing on the glass. There are some smells of sugar and caramel. There are some faint hops but isn’t overly done. A medium body, smooth, and doesn’t have an aftertaste, but a dry sweet finish. Overall, this is a very good beer, I would buy this again.

Appearance: pours with a large light tan head, the beer is a very clear and attractive brown color Aroma: brown sugar, nuts Taste: has toasty dark malt sweetness, not a strong sweetness but it's there, nutty, possibly brown sugar, grainy finish Palate: light mouthfeel, average carbonation, nutty aftertaste Overall: a light and easy drinking brown ale, has a very subtle sweetness and no bitterness to speak of, not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced fair lacing. Light to moderate toasted sweet malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft drinkable beer.

12 oz bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a clear reddish caramel brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have a mild nutty character, caramel, some fruity character, a little off note, thin, watery, just not something I would revisit.

12oz bottle, thanks to Paul & Jamie. Shared. Clear red orange brown color. Thin off-white head, some decent ridges and ropes of lace. Strange, kind of funky nose, little skunky. Some caramel, nuttiness in the flavor, hint of milk chocolate. Sort of a bigger rastringent bitterness here, moderate sweet. Medium body. Kind of slick texture, lighter carbonation, mild rough bite to it. Seems like mild infection, not sure though. I poured myself ~3oz of this, that was plenty.

12oz bottle to cervoise. Pours brown with beige soda head. Aroma is scarce with the tiniest bit of nut, biscuit and raisin. Taste is astringent citrus bitter with nut malt backbone and some unsweetened cocoa. Meh.

Bottle. Colour...amber with a thick white head. Nose...Malt-o-Meal, Ralston cereal and biscuits. Palate...quite malty and biscuity with cereal, spent grain, and a dry finish.

Meh. Just an average beer at best. Slightly nitty with some roasted malt notes. Pours brown with a thin tan head. Had out of a bottle from home from a beer of the month club. Terrible choice dudes

Birra discreta, ormai vecchia che porta nocciole solo al naso, debolmente, insieme ad un bell’aroma di orzo. In bocca è solo orzo, tostatura, ed un finale al caramello bruciato. Liscia, leggera, non indimenticabile

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber-lighter brown color with a brown tinted head of one finger height. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a lighter level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the brew is heaviest of a molasses and brown sugar smell mixed with a nice roasty bread and toasted nut smell. With a little bit of a light fruit smell working its way in as well, one is left with an overall very pleasant and sweet smell. Taste- The taste begins with a caramel and molasses taste with a little bit of a roasted malt upfront. As the taste advances the sweet fades a little bit, but is replaced by more and more roast, with some toasted nut flavors joining the taste as well. The loss of the sweet and increase in the roast and toasted nut brings a little bit of a bitterness to the taste, and with some light grassy and herbal hop also joining the tongue at the end, one is left with a somewhat more bitter and slightly roasty and sweet flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is on the slightly thinner side while the carbonation that is rather average. A little thicker of a body may have been slightly better for the roasted and sweet flavors of the brew, but even with that said, the feel was rather decent overall. Overall – An alright roasty, somewhat bitter, and slightly nutty brew overall with a bit of sweetness which fades toward the end. While fairly easy drinking, it is not anything to call home about. Overall a good brew to try, but nothing to anticipate anything great from.

Pours a dark brown color with a caramel head. Mild aroma. Tastes reminiscent of bread, nuts, and malt. Very nice smooth mouth feel. Not very heavy. Overall, quite nice.
