Pours a clear dark brown color with a small head. Slight aroma of malt and nuts. Flavor is of toffee and malt with a hint of earthy/nutty flavor at the end. Nice ans smooth. Would be a ok session brew. Thanks Ubamartian!

Bottle, small white head with fair lacing. Medium amber body. Moderately heavy hoppiness to the aroma. Bitter finish. Pretty bland beer but drinkable.

Draft @ McGlinchey’s, Philadelphia, running a promo on the Nut Brown ale. Even though they gave me a free pint glass, I can still remain objective. Nut flavor is there, bitterness is there, and malts were thin. I can feel good about drinking an organic beer, and this one had flavor as well.

Amber-brown color. Thin, whispy head. Nutty, diacetyl aroma. The flavour is crisp and earthy with caramel, nuts and diacetyl. Fairly toasty, with a dry finish.

Draught. Red-copper color, some lacing. Diacetyl-rich aroma also laden with sweet crystal malt. Prickly but decent mouthfeel. Sessionable. Needs to be chewed to release the hops. It grew on me.

12 oz bottle. Pours a brown/amber color almost like maple syrup with a white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is slightly malty and sweet with a minor hint of nut. Flavor is roasty and with some hop bitterness at the end. I get a lingering aftertaste that I can’t quite pin point. It finishes a little dry too. Not a bad beer by any means. It’s a good step forward for organic beers.
