COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an extravagant, immoderate beer. We mixed together our three favorite things - beer, chocolate and coffee. A rich stout serves as the backbone, with organic black malt and chocolate malt providing a luscious foundation. During the boil, we add artisan chocolate from our friends at Taza. During conditioning, we add coffee from out friends at Coffee by Design. Then, this concoction is oak-aged, resulting in soft vanilla notes. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we do.

A very complex beer with expertly balanced contributions from yeast hops and malt. Vanilla, chocolate notes are very well done accents along with subtle oak tannins. But this beer has big malt to incorporate all these fine elements. Very interesting beer, not by the case but sip by sip. A lot fun to taste.

On draft with nitro. Rich black color, lovely thick tan head, nice lacing. Mild chocolate and coffee aroma and flavors. Rich dark malty goodness. Medium to full body. Despite the gravity, don’t taste the alcohol. Very rich, satisfying stout.

Draft at Clinton hall NYC. Deep black color with a head that lasts. Wow. Very mocha chocolate flavor with a nice aftertaste that balances it out. Good desert beer

Pours a deep brownish black from the bottle with thin ring of tan brown head that leaves light lace. Aroma of big bourbon sweetness that falls to chocolate. Taste follows, thick and creamy, hints of soy. Solid.

Delicious awesome support stout. Smells like swine oak chocolate. Tastes like imperial button toasted mocha.

Poured from bottle. Dark brown, with slight red tinge; khaki head with minute bubbles. Aroma is bitter chocolate with some chocolate malt. Slight floral quality is hops, not coffee. Flavor is medium roast coffee, bitterness high on the mouth, sweet roasted barley. Bitterness doesn’t jive with the sweetness, but overall good flavor and mouthfeel.

Draft at Maddy’s. Murky brown pour, small brown head. Nice aroma of burnt espresso, milk chocolate, subtle tobacco. Taste is nicely balanced coffee and cocoa.

Bomber from Westside Renaissance Market in Ukiah, CA. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate with a hint of coffee. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy chocolate with firm coffee. Seems to have vanilla, but not much. Think I’m finding oak, not a lot. Finishes rather bitter chocolate and coffee.

Bottle shared with the fellas in Heaven, as the sun rose. Pours deep brown with a sudsy khaki head. OK stuff overall. Pretty sweet with somewhat sugary chocolate character, light metal, dark berries, mellow burnt wood presence. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lots of milk chocolate in the finish, soft roast, burnt sugars, understated barrel. Good duration on the chocolate character. Not bad on the whole.

Tap pour. Almost black in glass. Vanilla coffee nose. Hint of cocoa. Taste is chocolate milkshake. Stale aftertaste, not unlike dinner coffee. Close, but not quite there.
