3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appears dark brown with tan head. Smells like oak, dark malts, and a little wet dog. Taste is lighter than appearance with dark malts, some oak, and cola. Wood and dark malts on after taste.

Draft at Maddy’s. Murky brown pour, small brown head. Nice aroma of burnt espresso, milk chocolate, subtle tobacco. Taste is nicely balanced coffee and cocoa.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Westside Renaissance Market in Ukiah, CA. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate with a hint of coffee. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy chocolate with firm coffee. Seems to have vanilla, but not much. Think I’m finding oak, not a lot. Finishes rather bitter chocolate and coffee.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared with the fellas in Heaven, as the sun rose. Pours deep brown with a sudsy khaki head. OK stuff overall. Pretty sweet with somewhat sugary chocolate character, light metal, dark berries, mellow burnt wood presence. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lots of milk chocolate in the finish, soft roast, burnt sugars, understated barrel. Good duration on the chocolate character. Not bad on the whole.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap pour. Almost black in glass. Vanilla coffee nose. Hint of cocoa. Taste is chocolate milkshake. Stale aftertaste, not unlike dinner coffee. Close, but not quite there.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Something's off about this one. I get a stale, coffee ground aftertaste: Almost wonder if I should smell this to clear my palate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz but still a twist top, that’s Peak’s style. Pours a impenetrable black with a foamy brown head. Strong Vanilla notes come from the oak aging as well as maybe some dark fruit, yeast and coffee. Mostly this gives off a strong scent of oak aging. Pretty heavy mouth-feel and more carbonation than it needs. Pretty easy going but also with plenty of depth. Vanilla, chocolate and coffee flavors are there, always with an underlying burn that finishes oak aged. Not a heavy burn but still a barrel aged beer taste, much easier than most. This 22oz isn’t bad it’s just something I’d rather split with friends.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a deep dark brown with a tan head that doesn’t stick around very long. Chocolate and coffee notes and quite tasty notes at that. Easily the best thing I have tasted from Peak thus far. Also like that it doesn’t have the crazy high abv of some others in this style but still delivers a great tasting stout.
