JPDIPSO (4234), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA May 6, 2008 Amber color with a moderate, fairly lasting light khaki colored Head. Interesting aromas of light grapefruit, caraway and rye. I’m suddenly wanting tar-tar. Hints of peat float in and out. Sweet husky malt and a bit of citric zest. This has more light brown flavors than any APA that I can remember. Really not much that I am embracing in this one.
satan165 (116), River Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 21, 2008 a bit more sharpness on the tounge then the maple oat but this is as average as i thought it might be. maybe its just the idea of ’organic’ but all these brews seem to just be easy going...but not in a macro brewed rice beer type of way. this is just ......’meh’ Dandman629 (10), Ashburn, Virginia, USA Aug 17, 2008 Would you ever turn down a beer because it was not "organic"? We all love beer. Who really gives a damn if it is organic or not. This might have been the second organic beer I have ever had. The commercial description states "It’s a cross between west coast pale ale and a british style pale ale". It has the taste of a west coast pale ale and the consistency of a british pale ale. The beer has a light copper color and a walnut/caramel/maple scent. It tastes much like a light in flavor IPA with hints of caramel and citrus. Not too bad an organic beer, but nothing to brag about either. cblado (80), Wisconsin, USA Jul 29, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a pale golden color. Aroma was very malty. Flavor was similarly malty, very little bitter hop flavor. How is this an APA? A disappointment overall. Beerman6686 (724), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Poures a clear orange color with a small off white head. Aroma was pretty mild, a bit hoppy and grassy. Flavor tastes like water and hops, very strange. swoopjones (1115), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Nothing real special here. Slightly below average APA. Decent hop filled aroma. Taste was mild hoppiness. Just ok
