Bottle best before Feb. 2013. Pours clear, lively, gold and orange, with a 2-finger fluffy off-white head. Aromas of straw and grass, medicinal blueberry, and red berry. Flavor of sweet and tart berry juice, sugary berry, and bitter grass. Prickly carbonation. Meh. [1120]

Easy to drink. Sweet with some tang to it. Cant really taste any pomegranate. Nothing memorable or worth getting again.

Pours clear golden yellow with a small white head and no real lacing. Aroma is wheat, grain, a touch of spice, fruit (pomegranate). Flavor is the same with light sweetness and no bitterness. Light bodied. Meh.

NIce and sweet, a new organic to the list. NIce features and not so heavy aroma but easy to drink.

Pours a translucent gold with a white paperthin head. Aroma of wheat, berries and sweet malt. Taste is fruity, cranberries, slight bitterness and sweet on the finish. A bit syrupy for a wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I’m a little surprised at how much I liked this one. I’m not a fruit beer person, but the pomegranate in this is subtle enough to enhance the ale without overwhelming it. Good flavor to it.

This one has a certain fruity tartness in the mouth, less so in the nose.... I am not sure about acai, but I think it may be imparting a honey-like sweetness, which lingers a bit much in the aftertaste. Its alright, but I like other wheat and fruit beers more than this. Of course the organic thing may have bumped my rating up just a little bit!

On tap at Dirty Jack's in Asheville. Pours golden into the glass, with a fading soap head that leaves sparse lace. The nose is of berry and almost yeast-like sours. Lots of pomegranate up front, with a mediocre wheat mid-palate. The finish ends up a bit cloying. The mouthfeel is thin and a little sugary on the palate. It's ok for a novelty, I guess. Nothing that acts like it wants to be taken super-seriously. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an expiration date of June 2012. It pour a slightly cloudy pale yellow with a fizzy head that only lasts a minute. The aroma is thin malts and pomegranate with a crisp, clean aroma thrown in. The body is light. The taste is also quite fruity thanks to the pomegranate. Not something I would have regularly.

Appearance: clear straw hues under a white head which fades lacy along the sides with a big solid white puddle resting contently in the middle. Gentle suspended haze – translucent. Swirls average.
Nose: fresh loaves of white bread. Raw pomegranate and rhubarb – a touch of tartness. Candied pineapple. Aloe in the back. In the middle - raw dough being kneaded with a splash of flour so it doesn’t stick.
Palate: has an unexpected tartness which I like. Sourdough bread with a balsamic vinaigrette brushing. Fresh pomegranate along the sides and raw rhubarb underneath. Very tight and clean. Hint of apple vinegar. Faint essence of freshly rained on tropical fruits. Sourdough bread holds it all together; not an overall chewy beer though.
Final Thoughts: intriguing and different than what I was expecting. Good but a tad thin all around. A touch more ‘oomph’ and it would have been a multi-quaffer. I can see the Pomegranate Wheat Ale working well with sushi and seviche.
