2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Overly "organic" message on the cluttered label. Honey-colored, lightly hazed beer with a white head. Clean, springy aroma at first which transforms to a slightly sticky kidís cereal (froot and grain) aroma. This was a stumbling brew - out-of-balance grain bitterness, a bit astringent, canít see that the pom and/or acai added anything other than a marketing hook. Tangy, lightly sweet. Lingering woody-bitter finish, medium body. New Leaf Market.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12/28/10. Dammit, Kevin, why do you always rate things just before me?!?! Arrrrrgh! Anyway, 12oz bottle. Hazy golden pour with a small, fluffy off-white head that fades to a film quickly. Light soft wheat aroma with a hint of biscuit and juuuuust a dash of sour fruit if you search for it. Very plain and light aroma with a kick of sour fruitiness, but I canít say Iíd be able to identify what fruit(s) if not on the label. Eh.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallahassee, Fl - New leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky medium golden pour with a sticky, silky white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is somewhat neutral, hint of fresh lake water and just whiff of berries. Flavor is tart with some of the acai berry flavor coming through. A bit of yeastiness adds a bit of back end balance. Finish is slightly buttery. Mouthfeel is crisp. Better than expected.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
I really donít wish to write too much about this beer because I didnít give it too much attention to be quite honest. The aroma was fruity and somewhat hoppy. I didnít get too much of the pomegranate fruit flavor from it but it was just what expected. Somewhat hoppy and right there in the middle.

Tastes of Ringwood yeast, diacetyl, light pomegranate, light raspberry, slight malt, and a hint of wheat. Medium body. Slightly viscous, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Ringwood yeast, diacetyl, and slight malt finish is slightly dry.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thin white head and a touch of orange near the top. Aroma of wheat, raspberries, grapes, coriander seed and probably pomegranate, although Iím not versed enough in that fruit. Medium-bodied; Deep pungent bitter fruit flavours with some potent wheat, a touch of sweetness and a lot of dry fruit tastes. Aftertaste is fairly bitter, and somewhat refreshing - a lot of fruit, but pungent and strong. Overall, a pretty standard fruity wheat beer - too strong in the flavours and not enough restraint in ingredients. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC on 15-February-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 27-February-2010.
