Sampled this beer from a representative at Binny’s in Chicago who brought a bottle along. Pours light golden in color with just a hint of pinkish glow. Aroma is very fresh pomegranate juice and sweet bready malt. Flavor starts with citrus and of course more pomegranate. The wheat becomes prevalent around the middle of the tongue and the gains an ever so slight tartness in the back of the mouth. Not overwhelmingly sweet which is good, and no artificial flavors. Medium body and active carbonation. Not necessarily my cup of tea but refreshing and honest.

Bottle: Pours a golden color with a small white head. The aroma was musty, wheat, fruit, and malts. The flavor was yeast, malts, hint of berry, dish water and grass. Overall, not too flavorful or tastful. Average.

12oz bottle. pours a slightly hazy honey color under a huge foamy white head. aroma isn’t really too interesting. some honey and pale grain notes. hints of fruity tartness. a crisp, carbonated, light palate. flavors of bitter wheat malt, some unsweetened fruity syrup, coriander spice, and hints that resemble cinnamon? unsweet, bitter aftertaste.

Peak Pomegranate was a close-out for me @ Union Jack’s in G-side. Three bucks for the pint got me pale fruity Wheat Ale with a soft finish. I don’t usually drink fruit beers Thanksgiving weekend, but happy to try this one.

On draft at Binny’s Southloop. Pours a clear soda-fizzy slightly purple golden with a thin fizzy head. Aroma is fairly crisp with seemingly sweet fruit syrup. Flavor follows, crisp, cereal, pomegranate is midway between syrupy fake and real, not bad.

Bottle… Clear golden ale with orange highlights and a small, fizzy, white head. Nice retention. The aroma provides buttery sweetness and lightly toasted grains, but is a touch medicinal. Medium-bodied with a fatty mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is sweet, buttery and lightly fruity with modest, metallic bitterness. Sweet, buttery finish.

Clear golden ale with generous carbonation, medium white head and slow lacing. Slightly sweet, fruity aroma. Mild tasting wheat beer, with slight berry note.
