We love the piney, fruity flavors of Simcoe® hops. This is a classic pale ale, with a generous dry hopping of Simcoe®. Because of the restrained malt profile, the hops really pop, like flora in spring.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes hops, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, straw, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium copper with s slight glint to it. Sticky off white head that leaves nice sticky lacing. Fresh floral aroma with some spruce hints. Pleasant fruity mellow flavor with some nectarine accents, a bit of muted citrus. Finishes with a hint of nuttiness. Mouthfeel is thick enough, slightly stinging. Very surprised.

The aroma is very well balanced with citrus hops and malt. The appearance is amber gold with an average head. The taste is like the aroma with a wonderful hops bitterness that is not astringent. The palate is smooth but not thick. This is one of those beers that is tasty and also refreshing.

On tap at Robert’s Maine Grill, Kittery, Maine. Golden pour, small head, little lacing. Floral aroma. A toasted caramel malt, slightly sweet and a lot of floral and pine-like flavors. A hoppy, light and crisp ale. Certainly passable even if not earth shaking. I liked it.
