COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love the piney, fruity flavors of Simcoe® hops. This is a classic pale ale, with a generous dry hopping of Simcoe®. Because of the restrained malt profile, the hops really pop, like flora in spring.

Light clear amber with a foamy pillowed head. Aromas of pine/citrus, grapefruit, caramel, and slight peach. Flavors of light peach, light pine/grapefruit, and slight caramel. Leaves a light bitter finish with slight corn. Light to medium sweet. Decent.

On tap. Pours a medium gold with a thin white head and lacing. It has a great aroma of grapefruit, some grass, and pine. The flavor is great floral and grassy hops up front, with a maltier middle and hoppy but balanced finish over a smooth body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring, MD. Hazy, red-orange-copper with an off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of pine, orange, Mandarin orange and light fruit. Taste of light fruit, Mandarin orange and pine resin. Medium/full body and low/medium carbonization with silky smooth foamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at World of Beer. Pours a clear copper amber color with a foamy white head. Excellent lacing along the glass. Strong piney citrus hop aroma and flavor. Nice amount of lingering bitterness in the finish.

Elwood (3027) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 4, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy amber color with a small white head that fades quickly. The nose smells faintly of baked apples and pine. The flavor has a slight butteriness paired with a fruity flavor up front, followed by a piney bitterness on the back end. Light to medium body with a short to medium finish. Decent.

Pours a light chestnut color with a bubbly full white head. Sweet malt in the aroma, the oily resin smell of the hop with a clean crisp taste and the unmistakeable simcoe hop characteristics with slight bitterness finishing very cleanly and just enough body. An excellent slightly hoppy pale.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is definitely hoppy with some great pine notes to it. A little bitter, but light and an easy drink. Good example of the style.

12oz into a pint. Right away the hops come off strong: nice and piney, resiny, full bodies slap your nose hop apeal. I love that in a beer. Aroma is reminisant of an ipa but a tad duller with the malt charateristics. Taste is bitter, hoppy, fulfilling for a pale ale, as the sweet nectar like qualities of this bring a round about satisfaction of a prestine enjoyment. Organis is what it says, organic is what its. I like it no matter what the label says. Orange bronze and tanned brown are the colors of this, looks nice in a glass. I think Ive found the perfect "spring" beer although I can see myself enjoying this one all the time if its available. the sessionable status also leaves me happy and ready for another. Solid brew here.

Pours a clear golden, has a lumpy white head that lasted a good four minutes. There was barely any carbonation seen rising. The lacing is foamy all around the glass, the smell has pine and strong hops, taste is bitter through the pine and the hops, palate is light to medium, clean, sessionable, carbonation felt, pine aftertaste, no finish, overall this is a good brew, if I had this again, probably only on tap
