3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity citric hop aroma with light sweet malty notes. The flavor is hoppy, flowery, and light fruity, with just a hint of pine. Decent.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale ale loaded with Simcoe hops. Pours an orange like amber with a large foamy white head. Smells of sweet and piney hops, grapefruit. Light and refreshing, fruit flavor hits at first the the piney hops give it a nice dry and bitter finish on the tongue. Lots of carbonation other than that watery and not much more to it. Nice sessionable ale for warm weather.

3.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fairly opaque amber color. Thick foamy white head leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is strong grapefruit, as if freshly cut. The taste is balanced and I don’t find anything really coming through, seems a bit watery, refreshing. Finish is clean and crisp..

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap for growler fills at Half Time. Pours a clear gold with a large to medium sized white head. Sweet malt, candy, but not much hop aroma. Where’s the Simcoe? Sweet and malty. Sweet malt, light earthy bitterness. Would be a fine beer if I didn’t come into it expecting Simcoe. Doesn’t deliver on that front.

12oz bottle. Pours a light amber with a lasting white head. Nothing spectacular but a pretty decent pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12-oz bottle in Brooklyn with Erica. Pours nicely into shaker: color starts off dark amber on the bottom and a lighter shade on top, but the bottom color races up to the top, creating a lot of head as it does so. I think the label on the bottle matches this color phenomenon exactly. Pretty cool. Aroma and taste are of fresh wet hops. Nothing utterly remarkable about this beer, but a good balance and noticeable floral/citrus hop profile, combined with a light to medium mouthfeel, make it an enjoyable, easy drinker for the spring.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. This erupted a bit. The head is simply volcanic, bubbling with big white foam. The beer is effortlessly carbonated, and boiling over with sweet, citric aromas. It drinks with a tart, orange-laden fruitiness, intermingled with a musty twist. Quite refreshing, yet biting enough for the serious hopheads. (#4578, 4/29/2012)

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is resin, earth, flowers. The appearance is slightly hazy amber, white head. The flavor is like the aroma, with carramel. Hop forward. The finish is mettallic hops. Medium in body. Decent.
