4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 craftbeerdesign (2123) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2012

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 drpimento (1936) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Different brew; instead of the resin/citrus slam there’s more of a cut grass flavoma that is comfortably pleasing. Radical change for the good. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is grass, hop, malt. Flavor is like nose with emphasis on grass. Body is easy, chewy, and drinkable. Finish is like flavor, on the short side, and just flat out good.

Previous notes...pours light honey amber with a crisp white head. The aroma is that of a floral spring presence. The flavor brings light hoppiness on a crispy refreshing body.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 glennmastrange (1884) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 15, 2011
Bottle. Light to moderate aromas of roasted for the malt, pine and grapefruit peel for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with hints of wood and pepper. Head is average size, frothy turning creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery with a lively carbonation. Damn, this smells good. Like an East Coast IPA. Unfortunately the flavor doesn’t quite keep up.
