We love the piney, fruity flavors of Simcoe® hops. This is a classic pale ale, with a generous dry hopping of Simcoe®. Because of the restrained malt profile, the hops really pop, like flora in spring.

Pours a light copper color with a full head with pretty heavy lacing. Flavor profile is clean as advertised; malt is subdued and showcases the Simcoe, normally an IPA or DIPA kind of hop. It does well with this style without overwhelming as could be the case.

Light colored ale. Lots of spicy simcoe flavor. Crisp in the finish. Good pale Ale with a hop kick. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, bbotmc. Hazy amber gold with white film. Peach, apricot, toffee aroma, bitter and a little oniony spicyness in the mouth. Full body, well-carbonated, and dry, bitter-onion finish. Quite nice.

BBOTMC. Pours orange honey like with a medium head, aroma of pineapple, tangerine and marmalade, flavor is slightly bitter with tangerine, pine and caramel, moderate sweetness, medium bodied, easy to drink.

Slightly hazy light copper with a foamy white head. Aroma floral and piney, with some earth tones. Taste very floral and piney, bitter but not overwhelmingly so. A little one dimensional, but overall a nice beer. On a personal note: Screw-top? Really?

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Almost clear golden. Aroma of piney and fruity hops. Flavor has some dry-ish malt, slightly sweetish, with some piney hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Clear gold with a nice white head. Clean hop nose - pines, flowers, mild fruitiness and faint caramel. Juicy piney hop flavors, clean malt, soft caramel notes, medium bitterness. Light bodied, very drinkable, dry and quite fun.

A clear medium amber body with a thin white head that had some nice retention to it an a bit of lace. Aroma was of mild toasted malts. Very well restrained. A nice sense of pine hopes and a good dose of citrus hops. There was a mild sense of corn, but not enough to negatively affect the beer. Flavor had a mild sweetness to it and it was a bit more bitter than i expected. Expected a little more balance. A nice dry finish. A decent beer.

Draft at Stout NYC with Chris and Tom. Pours a light golden body with light carbonation and white lacing. Aroma is mellow fruits, smooth melon and fresh grassy hop. Delicate simcoe on the nose. Mouthfeel is soft, light and almost thin with notes of soft fruits and grass mostly, but with an obtrusive grainy character distrupting the flavor profile. I felt like this was really close to being really good.

Fra fad, ABC Restaurant, New York. Klar og gylden, med et fint lille hvidt skum. Klassisk SImcoe næse. Mine konse siger at den lugter af kattepis. Jeg siger blodgrape og gran. Malten er der bare. Meget ren, tør og frisk bryg. Medium bitter. Stor smag for så lav en ABV.

Bottle at home. Pours clear orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate diacetyl (butter) with cracker and biscuit malt, earthy, resin, and pine hops, sweaty gym socks and pear esters. Flavor is moderate hops and heavy bitterness with light cracker malt, light diacetyl, some fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium to light body and medium carbonation, somewhat slick.
