COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional summer wheat beer marries a west coast Pale ale. Brewed with locally grown wheat, providing a complex mouthfeel, and single-hopped and generously dry-hopped with Amarillo, creating a glorious citrusy aroma and finish. The approachable 5% abv makes this the perfect session beer on a summer day.

Peak Organic Summer Session Ale is a very clear, golden ale with a thick, fluffy, white head that has great retention and lacing. It has a very earthy smell with a fresh hop aroma that’s bright and citrusy. It smells great. It’s medium light bodied, smooth and soft. The finish is quick and dry, leaving the mouth a little slick. It has a nice, tight, dry, bitter flavor with lots of lemon peel and a hint of grass and herbs. The bitterness lingers for a while after the taste. This beer is a very pleasant surprise. It has a lot more flavor than I was expecting and it’s very refreshing. I’m a fan.

Pours a tawny yellow with minimal head. Aroma is of hops, lemon, and pine. Taste is simple yet subtle and complex. Notes of citrus, pine, lemon, hops, and a trace of bitterness (no sourness here). A smooth, wonderful brew.

Straw colored ale with clear appearance and a good one finger white head. Floral and slightly citrus nose. Grain profile is slight obscured by appropriate measure of Amarillo hops. Wheat profile comes out the aftertaste. Overall, a great taste and drinkable beer... but higher ABV than a true session.

Deep gold with light, creamy, white head / Clean nose of wheat and lemon / Light body, hint of sweetness and chewiness, with good malt and hop balance and good, dry, finish / Flavors of lemon peel and wheat / A surprisingly nice effort from Peak.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2012 flavorful, refreshing this brew is zesty, hoppy and satisfying. not especially good for a session but really good for a beer...don’t you think? i was surprised this is something you gotta try. the beer is layered in flavors of wheat, lemon and hop and is tangy with a bit of sweetness leading to a dry, short bitter finish.

12oz bottle. hazy gold fluffy white head. nice hoppy nose for the style with notes of lemons and green grass. flavor is fantastic. a lot like a good golden ale. light, crisp, refreshing. leaves a grassy aftertaste from the hops but not too aggressive. just a relaxing, warm weather beer that tastes good. simple and effective. this is the perfect style for an organic beer. too bad summer is over(i found for $3.99 a six pack, i guess they were getting rid of the summer beers)...they should market the crap out of this next season!

12oz Bottle. Aroma is a nice crisp orange flesh and grass with some light lemon pound cake maltiness. Pours a mid-hazed deep golden, lightly oranged and a with a nice frothy and soapy white head. Flavors are sharp and crisp. Nice bright wheat and malt, flavorful rich juicy Amarillo orange hop flavor. This is beautifully drinkable, flavorful, and fun.

I’m surprised by how much I like this beer! Pours a nice gold with a nice white head. Plenty of lacing. Aroma is sweet and citrusy wheat notes are also plentiful. flavor is more complex then must summer session beers, citrus notes with a sweet malty wheat finish

Bright sunny aroma - lemon, apricot, passionfruit. Taste is similar, crisp dry finish, with the amarillo contributing some bitter grapefruit and pine. Surprisingly complex for a summer seasonal wheat ale, yet very drinkable.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] underbar aroma, fruktig frisk och humlig. Smaken är dessvärre inte lika bra. Dock rätt välbalanserad.
