2010-06-30. Hazy copper body with a small creamy beige head and lace. 3+ Aroma of fresh cut grass, odd grainy character like day old spent grains. Flavour is better, mild malt, light grains and cardboard/wet grains. Smooth average plus palate. Bit odd. Sampler at the brewpub, Port Angeles

[3041-20100630] Tap. Not much aroma, a little grains. Hazy, medium brown orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head and thick lacing. Corn meal flavour has a little alcohol and roast corn on the cob with odd grassy earth malt. Medium body. Little alcohol is noticeable, corn is a bit of a bad feature.

On tap at Peaks in Port Angeles. color was amber, a bit hazy. Aroma of amber malt, flowers and fruit. Flavor was much of the same, with a decent amount of hoppiness and a bit of chalk. Good beer.

Amber color with a thin off white head. Aroma is malty, light hoppiness, light caramel. Taste is mildly hoppy and malty- reminds me more of an amber than an ESB.

Pint - Peaks Brewpub - Port Angeles, WA
Aroma – A decent use of amber malts with a light nose of hops.
Appearance – Amber in color, hazy, with a thin head.
Flavor – This was a very bland bitter ESB. Had some decent use of malts the hops where way to hoppy and not enough for the bittering.
Palate – OK Mouthfeel, decent texture with a dry finish.
Overall – It was a nice beer good for the regulars but this was far from a ESB. Needed more bittering hops and a silky smooth finish.

Pint at Peaks Brewpub; Nose of light floral hops and caramel malt; hazy brown with a medium beige head; flavor is medium hop bitterness and brown sugary sweetness; finish is nicely bitter. Brand new brew at the pub!
