3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Maroon-scotch color with okay head. Pungent juicy grapefruit nose--a veritable grapefruit bomb has one bracing for the first sip. The body is decidedly of grapefruit through and through, though the bitter aspect is somewhat moderated, so you get oodles of grapefruit flavor, but the moderate bitterness is bearable. A one-note brew that is really not my thing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Non-gusher, thankfully!   Hearty orangish straw, mild haze, thin sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Tart/sour nose, mild unripened berry.   Seems rather mild and a bit pedestrian, but it has all the bits, just very light.   Tart on the tongue, a touch watery, not all that dry.   Very pale unripened berry or cherry aspects.   Backside shows a little wheaty and mealiness.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Clean finish, albeit a little mealy.   Needs to be drier, but otherwise its not half bad.   Very pedestrian, but its clean.   One of the better Port Angeles beers, but still needs a little work.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2012 Sampled at the brewpub. Very sour mash and loud lemony sweat. Wildly yeasty. Good.
