Cask @ Smithfield Hotel, Manchester M4. Pours a clear dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma with some hints of chocolate and coffee. Roasted malty nutty caramel flavor. Slightly watery and thin mouthfeel. Has a slightly sweetish roasted malty caramel finish with some nutty hints in the aftertaste.

Clear dark brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, coffee, toffee, butter, vanilla notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and ligt to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090123]
