Nice amber with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is dominated by caramel malt. Sweet bready start with a nice citrus bitter finish, orange zest like I think. Medium body with good carbonation. Nice warmth from a well balanced beer.

Decent imperial ipa. More like a malty pale ale.... Some hop bitterness but not enough

Pours deep copper bronze colour.. Aroma is just slight of bread and earthy, dank basement. Taste is bitter like an imperial brown ale

Bronze-amber body with a cool, frothy cover. Nice forward-hoppy nose, but some wet shoe, funky flavors that detract from the hop notes. A bit off.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel malt. Flavor of bitter hops, sweet sticky malt, citrus, and tropical fruits. A heavy sweet IIPA, not how I like my IIPAs. 7/4/6/3/14 (3.4/5)

Draft at the Pub. Aroma was strong citrus with a little bit of pine. Orange pour with an off-white head. Not much head on mine. The taste had some pine, but a lot of grapefruit, apricot, and hop bitterness. This was a decent DIPA.

[3886-20110819] Tap. Fragrant leafy hops aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter leafy hops flavour has a little caramel. Medium body is a little bitter. Good. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

2011-08-19. Crisp orange amber body with a small beige head. 3+ First sip is quite bitter and hoppy, followed by a decent amount of sweet caramel malt. Similar character throughout, pleasant modest hops and underlying malt. Alcohol is not very noticeable at first but grows with an increasing warming of the throat as the glass goes on. Mild muddled aroma, only a hint of the hops that appear in the flavour, muted malt. Average to medium bodied palate. 3+ Bit of toasty caramel malt lingers in the finish. Shows potential but just okay. On tap at Pearl St., Buffalo
