4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of my favorites, I’m pretty surprised with the lower reviews. Amber colored ale, creamy smooth taste, nice flavor. Not a giant flavor, but exactly what I want in an amber.

Overall, this used to be their best beer by far a decade ago..it probably still is but only because all of the beers have fallen way off

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Pan American Grill. Dark red-gold with a small white head. Mild roasted malt nose with sweet (peanut?) and earthy peat highlights. Mildly sweet flavor, toast, mild cocoa, tea leaves, dried hay. Very easy drinking yet flavorful session beer that is more than the sum of its parts.

Not sure how I haven’t rated this one either. Pretty much exactly how the description makes it sound. Nothing fancy, nothing really special.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had on draft @ the Pearl Street brewpub, Buffalo,NY .. . scary name for a beer .. . mild malts .. some berry .. unique upfront bitterness .. a bit muddled .. an ok beer at best .. . . Ah, look, it’s just an old, creaky mirror, y’know, sometimes it sounds a little like it’s sneezing, or coughing, or talking softly.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bright amber color with a beige head, fruity toasted malt, with a grainy caramel note, hint of floral hop in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a grainy malty character, a bit toasty, hint of fruitiness, hint of leafy hop bitterness, leading towards a raw maltiness and lingering dry finish.

On tap at the brew pub. Clear dark brown with small head. Typical altbier. Not very bitter though. Willing to have again to taste more.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I believe this beer is meant to be a tribute to a clash between Railroad companies out of Buffalo and Denver from the 1800’s. Kind of a disappointment, name fits.
