Birra Dolomiti Pils has a very thick, white head and a clear, golden appearance, with lots of streaming bubbles and a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of light and sweet barley malt. One tastes lightly-toasted barley malt, sweet bread, a touch of hop bitterness at the end, and just a dash of lemon. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Birra Dolomiti Pils finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing. Drinkability is exceptional. Overall, this is a very good beer, and I recommend it. RJT

(500ml bottle dated 4-2010 thanks to bu11zeye) clear still pour, light amber in color. Nose of caramel, raw grain and wheat. Taste of bread, raw grain and unsweet caramel.

500ml split with DarkBeerChick. Poured a deep honey colored body with a quickly receding bubbly head. Aroma is fruity, lightly sweet, raisins(?) and malty. Flavors were lightly malty, medium sweet (caramel), grainy and a floral hop finish. This was much better than I had thought it would be.

Bottle from Specís in downtown Houston. Originally, my hubby and I tried this at Silver Eagle Distributorís fall tasting and we were surprised at how good it was considering Italians arenít known for their beer. :) It pours golden yellow with light white head and gentle lacing. The aroma reminds me of a Belgian - sweet, fruity with hints of clove, spice and banana. Itís light and refreshing, but the taste isnít as bold as itís aroma. In fact, itís a little TOO light in flavor, but would be a great thirst quencher on a hot Texas day. Flavor is a mix of fruit, hay and something else I canít quite put my finger on...different, but good.

Deep golden colour. White full lasting head. Aroma is hoppy with herbal and light grainy tones. Flavor is moderately malty with hoppy and herbal tones, ending in a moderately malty finish. Light bodied.

Light sweet malt aroma with some grassy and possibly corn-like undertones and very low hop aroma. Straw-gold color and very clear with substantial and fairly persistent white frothy head. Some nice lacing on glass. Clean dry taste with nice malt-hop balance. Slight citrus from hops. Bitterness becoming more apparent on finish. Medium light body and medium to medium low carbonation. A good thirst quencher. Seems to fit the Premium American Lager category by BJCP guidelines.

Clear golden color/ white head. Sweet bready pale malt, fruity aromas. Medium bodied. Lightly sweet pils malt, light fruit flavors, crisp clean finish--not bad

envane (567) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Hazy light amber with lots of bubble and a fast disappearing white head. Caramel aroma. Taste is caramel malts with light bitterness and a watery finish. Thin palate. Once again, ratebeerers show they have no clue about lagers. This is clearly a vienna, and there are far more pale lagery Mexican "viennas" that are catagorized as viennas.

Pours a dark golden yellow with a nice white head and lot of carbonation. Nice malt and corn on the nose with the malty sweetness lingering in the background. Nicely balanced with the malts providing a nice roundness mid palate and light hops giving a little bitterness on the finish. A decent Italian beer.
