COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here at PBC we produce a ‘Classic Hefe-Weizen’ in the true Bavarian style. A light, cloudy, golden hue and thick frothy, foamy head tells of a very special yeast strain used to produce this bier. In true German style we use a specific yeast strain, delbruckii. While fermenting, the yeast itself is responsible for the flavors of banana & clove which makes this one of the most unique biers of the world. Peter has been brewing this recipe for many years and has collected more than a half of a dozen medals, do not pass up the experience of this lovely libation. Bottle. Hazy golden color, medium fluffy white head. Aroma of light citrus and subtle banana. Taste is fruity and light. Light body. A bit plain but very drinkable.

Great Hefe-Weizen. Aroma is fairly noticed upon serving, mostly malt. Gold, yet a little bit cloudy and taste is just as expected, mild foretaste and kind of a dry sensation after it. Pretty well balanced beer.

Clear light yellow with small fast disappearing head. Thought it odd to be so clear but noticed there was allot of sediment at the bottom of the bottle that appears to be stuck there. Aroma of cloves and some hay. Taste is dominated by a clove flavor with some hints at lemon but other than that not really picking much else out here. Good but not outstanding.

Decent Hefeweizen. It has a good amount of taste on the front end, but finishes dry and slightly watery. Plenty of carbonation, but I got very little head. If you like hefeweizen, I would give it a go.

Bottle thanks to Chels. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is clove, banana, and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with sweet fruit, clove, and nice lingering dry finish. Good.

Banana esters, wheat malt, lemon zest. Decent aroma. Ugly appearance, as the head disappears faster than sorority girls when the punch runs out. Bland, watery taste leaves much to be desired. Body needs work too.

An awful example of the style. But hey, it's drinkable!

Hazy straw color with a thin white head. Nice banana aroma. Body is a little thin, maybe a little less wheat would do the trick. Clean refreshing finish.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2013 12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent thin yellow, some evidence of lacing with white ring .... Carrying on- a light aroma Round Rock orgueil, North Dallas jackwad, and pure Tex-ugh-tucky used car salesman trying to get 5 grand more worth that what the car is worth- running, by the way. Hits the mouth with a firm, but yet, light medium body middle has a fine mineral feel, finish is a slight hint of clove, and tint of banana. The clerk laughed when I bought it, telling me that it was more of a Mexican lager than a heffy- I would have to agree with that.

Hazy gold color with a quickly disappearing white head. Nose of some old orange peel and spice. It seems undercarblonated. Some clove spice, bitter orange, bubblegum and banana flavors. Thin and a little too sweet for me.
