Our India Pale Ale is a classic American beer. A brilliantly clear, light copper color denotes the specialized caramel used to give the beer a light toasted malt flavor. Classic NW American hops in both the boil & in ‘dry hopping’ are used to balance the malty sweetness of the barley and to give a wonderful herbal aroma. Not too strong and not too bitter but a balanced, clean, dry, finished beer you will want to share with your friends.

Draught at Marriott, San Antonio. An orange hued IPA with some bad esters going on. Not fairly good.

Something bothers me with the aroma. Dont know what. Too much chloride, too malty for its sake. Very yellow but with a decent head and lace. Mid body, mid bitterness, all in all a balanced brew. Some pines and corn maybe. Moderately bitter and long finish. Good for a summer day, poor for beer tasting.

Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light pine and grass with musty grain backing. Flavor has a lot of earthy grain and grass with just a hint of pine.

Location: Bottle at Biga on the Banks, 1/25/14

Aroma: The nose is slightly off, some malty notes, and an off hop presence
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, just kinda of off, a little buttery, mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, a touch thin, with an okay feel and and off finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: As it was drinking this I just kept thinking of the wonderful Man Men line: "Not great, Bob!" Yup, that sums it up. One of my least favorite IPAs I can remember trying.

lots of smoke and pours a clear golden with lots of carbonation and a medium white head that dissipates rather quickly. the aroma is weak but you pick up mild hops and some sweetness and a little bit of woodiness. the taste is mild hops up front but ends sorta sweet and some woodiness. not a terrible beer and worth a try but don’t expect to be blown away.

Pours clear light orange with scant head; aroma hops present but underpowered; taste is pretty bitter with some astringency and dry finish.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness and woody hops. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, woody hops and light earthiness with a smooth finish.

Off gold, no head, attempt at lace. Slightly bitter. Middle is nondescript grain flavor. Weakly bitter finish. Tastes more like a mid strength pale ale.

Golden beer out of the bottle with a small wisp of off white bubbles for a head. Fresh grassy hop nose. Apple and orange fruity flavors with some English muffin breadiness under the hops. Grassy hop finish. It seemed almost more of an English IPA.

Slightly hazy light amber brew with little head that died out to nothing. Smells of barley with some hints at hops. Taste is more like an APA than an IPA and there is a sweetness to it that you would not expect from an IPA or really even an APA. Not saying it is a bad brew, drank down a six pack and didn’t complain other than it may be a bit misleading labeled as an IPA.
