Our India Pale Ale is a classic American beer. A brilliantly clear, light copper color denotes the specialized caramel used to give the beer a light toasted malt flavor. Classic NW American hops in both the boil & in ‘dry hopping’ are used to balance the malty sweetness of the barley and to give a wonderful herbal aroma. Not too strong and not too bitter but a balanced, clean, dry, finished beer you will want to share with your friends.

12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of malts, citrus and yeast. Taste was kind of off, not real hoppy. Just a ok beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is stale cardboard, slightly sweet. Light amber in color....small coarse white head. Taste was terrible for an IPA...no punch at all. Tastes like an IPA you’d get from a shit brewpub....adjunct grain, hints of hops, maybe apples. Ironically, today, the day I drank this, I was at the funeral home for my recently deceased grandmother of 97 years. That funeral home sits across the street from this brewery. Lorine Bruns RIP...you would have not cared for this beer. I love you Omie.

Clear amber pour with a nice white head. Aroma is caramel, citrusy and earthy. Taste is caramel and toast with a slight medicinal quality and not a lot hop character. Medium body.

Inoffensive. When that’s the best thing you can say about a beer, it’s time to switch to another.

Hazy orange-amber with fluffy off-white froth. Lots of lacing. Very weak aroma; toast, citrus, and caramel. Taste is toasty and moderately bitter. Certainly not your typical IPA, and I’ll take it over Bud Light any day of course, but generally pretty weak and boring. Light-medium bodied and slightly dry.

Pours clear golden amber on tap. Aroma of floral hops with hints of citrus. Flavor of watered down hops. Not a great beer but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at mangia pizza while waiting for our to go order. Orange amber colorored pour. Light thin lacing. Medium carbonation. Orange floral aroma, not very pungent. Hard to tell it’s an ipa by the nose alone. Medium mouth feel. Not bitter and not hopy. Very middle of the road ipa. I would give this to a first time ipa drinker. Very mellow and chrisp with minimal frightening flavors.

Draught at Marriott, San Antonio. An orange hued IPA with some bad esters going on. Not fairly good.

Something bothers me with the aroma. Dont know what. Too much chloride, too malty for its sake. Very yellow but with a decent head and lace. Mid body, mid bitterness, all in all a balanced brew. Some pines and corn maybe. Moderately bitter and long finish. Good for a summer day, poor for beer tasting.

Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light pine and grass with musty grain backing. Flavor has a lot of earthy grain and grass with just a hint of pine.

Location: Bottle at Biga on the Banks, 1/25/14

Aroma: The nose is slightly off, some malty notes, and an off hop presence
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, just kinda of off, a little buttery, mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, a touch thin, with an okay feel and and off finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: As it was drinking this I just kept thinking of the wonderful Man Men line: "Not great, Bob!" Yup, that sums it up. One of my least favorite IPAs I can remember trying.
