Lobo Lito is a "Session Beer". Session Beer is not actually a style of beer but describes the beer’s contribution to society. Lobo Lito does this by being a relatively low alcohol beer which is light in color, light in body and goes down easily. Having several of these beauties while sitting around passing the time with friends will lift your position in society as you share your worldly knowledge and wash it down with the best session beer around. Lito is made with 100% malted barley, this means brewing with no adjuncts such as rice or corn. Because of this traditional brewing regime, Lito maintains a dense foamy head and is one of the best "light" beers with actual malt and hop flavor.

Can. Pours light straw golden full white head. Aroma of grass, bread, cereal. Taste is light sweetness. Light body and thin texture, some dryness in the finish and hop presence along with the light sweet malt. Not bad overall.

Tap at Cottonwood in Houston. Clear very pale pour with a white head. Sweet grain, hint of grass, light and uninspired.

As pale lagers go, this one pretty good. Goes down easy while floating in the pool. Actual hints of grain, yeast and faint bitterness.

Irving, TX - Las Colinas Beverage - 12 oz bottle - labeled as Lobo Lito. Light, sparkling golden pour, bubble white head, a hint of lacing. Aroma has some yeasty accents, a touch of nuttiness. Flavor has some light nuttiness, some breadiness, some yeasty accents. A bit more flavorful than a typical adjunct lager. Somewhat of a crisp mouthfeel, but slightly thin.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden color with a thick white head. The aroma is grassy and bready. I pick up more of the same in the taste as well as a little bit of sweetness. There is a little bit of bitterness on the back end to help round out the beer. The drinkability is quite high on this beer and quite flavorful for a light beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale gold with a decent white head. Mild aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, grain, and a touch of citrus. Thin and watery. No metal or skunk, so it is drinkable.

Has no aroma to speak of. Appearance is an okay yellow body but no head. Flavour is soft malt with lager hints. Weak palate. It’s a boring and forgettable lager.

Pours a yellow slightly cloudy in the glass. Citrus aroma; fresh lemon notes. Very pleasing to my nose. Crips and clean, with a slightly toasty malt and hint of citrus in the flavor. Overall, a bit better than I was expecting.

Lobo Lito has a thick, white head, a mostly clear (but, with noticeable tiny white specs suspended throughout), golden appearance, and a bit of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of pungent, pale malt, some honey, barn straw, and sweetness. Taste is of sweetness, yeast, some honey, straw, grassy hops, and a touch of bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Lobo Lito finishes crisp and refreshing. One of the best light beers I’ve yet to try. RJT
