Taste more time (first @ 2011) last time 04 may 2016 @ home. Copper to amber color, with royal creamy off-white head. Aroma: caramel, fruits sweetness. Medium body. Taste: sweet start, some citrus, caramel, malts, hoppy bitterness. Not bad, regular amber ale.

Pours dark amber, clear. OK white head. Smell is weak, very metallic. Taste is sharp, bit bitter, metallic, some creamy maltyness, but def not a creamy mouthfeel. High carbo over a rather thin beer. Way better than the basic pee klak, which seems to be a totally different beer all along. as an amber, this is a weak example. Drinkable, but weak. As a tripel though ( the style as of time of rating on ratebeer ) it is totally out of the ordinary, not 1 similar aspect to other tripels, but not ment in a good way.

Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels, 30A4 23/07/2011, probably 1 year too old
Cloudy amber color with generous compact head. Quite nice aroma of spicy yeast, brown sugar, and light fruits. Good body strength; the mouthfeel is soft, smooth; it has a good malt flavor, with some residual sweetness, a nice honey touch (mix of buckwheat honey and chestnut honey); the bitterness level is medium-low; it has indeed a trace of oxidisation in the end.
A good beer, maybe a bit oldish.
