johndoughty (1614), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England May 23, 2008 Blond and quite lively upon pouring. Left some lacing. Medium body with a slight ritternet. A reasonable example of this style.
Fin (2179), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Mar 9, 2008 Bottle in a six pack from Tesco, Worcester Warndon Villages Pours mid golden with a white bubbly head which is very small and disappears quickly. This tastes fine but like a more watered down version of a belgian beer, taste is slightly metallic, otherwise it’s fine if a bit commercial. weaselkenievil (295), Cheshire, England Jan 23, 2008 Also a six pack in Tesco, and also because it was the last thing I hadn’t tried there. Average at best and that’s being a bit kind. I felt a bit cheated, bloody tesco. Watery, not offensive but certainly average, at best. DruncanVeasey (1612), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Nov 24, 2007 6pack basketed in Tesco, purely because it was the only beer in the shop I hadn’t tried. Wish I’d left it there. Bilious, industrial cider-like aroma with a trace of banana. Papery grain, stale apple juice and overwhelming off-notes of cardboard. Aggressively fizzy with a sweetener-like bitterness and a wheaty aftertaste. Definitely one to offload on the guests. The ones I don’t like.
