Cask-conditioned at the Merseyside beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol February 2013. Slightly hazy gold with a decent, white head. Light tangerine and apricot fruits, some sweetness and a moderately dry finish. Ok.

Half pint, cask by handpump, shared with Finn at The Crown and Kettle. Near, clear golden body. Spotty head-lacing. Sweet fruity aroma, lightly spiced. Succulent taste of sweet oranges, a bit juice-like. Dry ending and soft in the mouth. Ok to drink without further excitements (Manchester, 23.01.2013).

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 6th September 2012. Clear gold with virtually no head or lacing. Swetish caramel aroma. Richly hoppy with slight cheesiness in-mouth; becoming grassy and bitter in the finish. Smooth but NOT flat. Quaffable.

From the Harp Inn in Neston. The beer has a Golden yellow hue with a small white head. The smell is strong with citrus wastums (fruits). The smatch (taste) is dry at first, then full of grapefruit. Overall, an alright beer for summertime.

Cask conditioned handpump Queen Adelaide Northampton 11/07/12. A hazy blonde beer with a whitish head and lacing. Zesty lemony and soapy. Light citrus hoppiness. Summery flavours. Too much soapiness but it’s acceptable.

On cask at The Heriot-Watt Beer Festival. Pours a light golden colour with an aroma of musty yeast, caramel and biscuity malt. Similar flavours with lingering alcohol and caramel.

Bugger all aroma initially, later there’s some sticky resiny hop. Similar taste, but a little citrussy too. A bit watery. Decent for a blond ale, but they’re generally poor.
