COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This wee version of a scottish ale is only small in terms of ABV, the flavor profile is rich with chocolate and munich malts. The color is an almost purple color leaning towards brown ale but without any roasty or nutty character giving it that distinct Scottish ale quality. Quaffable and approachable make this an easy suggestion for anybody preferring malty beers. 5.0% ABV

On draft at Peg’s. Pours a hazy caramel color with a tan head. Nose is sweet malts, maple, and some earth with light spice. Flavor follows the nose with big sweet malt character, some light spice, and sweetness into the finish. Light to medium in body and interesting overall.

On tap at the brewpub. Black, with a lace sheet. Medium mouthfeel, lciorice and mollasses. A little sourish. A mild smokey and complex aroma.
