Really nice pour from Pegs. Nose is punchy hops and juicy citrus fruit. Flavor is healthy juicy hops, clean, full flavor. Bold lemon and grapefruit without overpowering. Medium body with nice lacing. All around, a great offering.

Growler, thanks Mac! Huge citric aroma full of ripe, juicy grapefruits. Geez, this is excellent. Rounded hops balance against a hearty malt backbone. I don't like many single IPAs; this is quite tasty.

On tap at the brewpub. Spot on East coast IPA. Not greatly drinkable. Cloudy grapefruit coloured with some head and lace. Citra dominated, though a hop mix. Big and hoppy.

A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, excellent mix of catty and floral hops, Nelson Sauvin, fruity cotton candy, nice. In mouth, a smooth floral hops with catty notes, floral hops, loads of citrus notes, well done. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 8 2012.

On draft at Peg’s for RareR Dos release. Big kick of hoppy goodness to the mouth, not to mention an extremely bitter after shock. Nice subtle hints of grapefruit with a good amount of earthy tones.

Great, slightly bitter but not much so, most bitterness comes in a lingering aftertaste. Primarily it is sweet and citrusy.

On tap at CCB for IPA Day. Holy shit! Nose is incredible pine and citrus hops. Hints of floral hops melded with semi sweet caramel. Flavor is super smooth slightly over balanced on the hoppy end in a perfect way. Finishes perfectly bitter. Lingers for a bit and ends with sweet hops and mild caramel. Awesome.

Draft at the cantina. Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. The glass is left coated with sheets of soapy lace. Slightly earthy aroma with more of a citrus fruit presence than a piney/grassy character.  Subtle bread and biscuity malt along with lemon peel, grapefruit and pineapple.  Not as resinous or earthy as I expected for the style. Medium bodied with a slight creamy texture.  Subtle dry bitterness nicely countered by citrus and tropical fruit notes.  Some apple, banana, lemon, pineapple and mango followed by bready yeast and biscuity pale malts.  Well balanced but not an aggressive hop bomb.  Lots of sweetness but one dimensional and lacking the sticky, dry and bitter flavors that I look for.  It is light and easy to drink but not too complex or interesting.

Draft shared with Linh at Peg’s during the Berliner Bash 2012. Pours an orange body with nice white head and lacing. Aroma is fresh pine and citric hops. Mouthfeel is refreshing with superb notes of dry citrus fruits, bitter grapefruit and pine.
