On Draft at Peg’s for their 100th Batch Celebration. Pours a murky red/pink with a medium clean white head. Aroma is sour grapefruit, florals, and pomegranate. Flavor is sour grapefruit, slightly vegetal/tomato hints similar to the Bloody Berliner but not to that extent, white grapes...great flavor, not overly tart or acidic at all. Light medium mouthfeel, slightly puckering and super refreshing. Man this is a fantastic beer...This is one of those beers that I would be satisfied drinking every day.

Cloudy pinkish purple. I really liked this one, sour fruit, well balanced and refreshing. Would love to have this on a regular bassis.

On tap at Fruit of the Room. This beer didn’t really due it for me. To me the flavors were muddled and confused with some raspberry, lime juice, and funk...

aroma is grapefruit, lime and lactic acid. appearance is an easy ’5’: ruby red pissy grapefruit juice, a dead ringer. flavor is lime juice, spoiled milk, bile, rotten strawberry puree. mouthfeel is thin, slippery, refreshing, crisp. sampled at CCB ’fruit in the room’ and once i got tired of rates i just came back to this again and again.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2011 Rerate. don’t know what i was thinking the last time, but its night and day. Pours a murky tan with little head. A bit of lacing. Aroma is a sweet sour and wheat. Raspberry and lime taste. Palate is medium and clamy. much better this time.

Cask at Aromas’ Funky Fest. Poured a cloudy orange. Nose is lemony, little funky, and more fruit. Taste is funky, tart mix of raspberries, lemon. This is a little more sourpatch kid than beer. Not offputting in any way, just very tart. A little bit of yeast and funk, but really a heavy sour. Overall, an interesting and refreshing brew.

Growler at Maltzillas World Cup 2010 tasting. Pours cloudy pale hay color with thin white head. Sour, fruity aroma. Very sour with flavors of citrus, lemon. Light body with moderate carbonation. Mouth puckering tartness with a dry finish.
