Rich chocolate fudge brownies with coconut. A bit on the boozy side and very hot. Sludgelike thickness. It is extremely tasty, but also hard to drink in any meaningful quantity and taxing on the palate. Still a damn good BA Stout, one of the best I’ve tried.

The pick of the offerings on tap at 2014 barrel aged beers of the ones I tried. Lovely smell - complex without being weird. Taste is pitch perfect - lovely and interesting. Overall, great beer.

Mexican Cake Supertrade Series Beer with jrob21, Westmeister, and deadCATAtlanta. INFECTED. Still kind of tasty. Grapey vinegar flavors with traditional stout notes. Growler - Received in Trade

Black body, khaki head, motor oil consistency. Roasted dark malt, sour cherry nose. Malty, boozy & tart. Infected. Damn shame.

Flip top bottle shared by ? Pours dark brown to black with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, some barrel notes, but not overpowering. Pretty much what I would expect in a solid imperial stout. As I drank more, a bit of a tart character began to sneak in so I guess we had one of the infected bottles or at least one that was beginning to go. I thought it was still pretty good.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is very sweet with notes of vanilla, coffee, roasted malt, and soy sauce.

Black, tan head. Aroma: dark chocolate, licorice, cocoa. Flavor: licorice, light acidity with some cherries, tar-like sensations, vanilla, bourbon.

Growler thanks to artmcd8. Poured black with quite dark brown head. Strong roasted vanilla boozy barrel aroma. Light carbonation with med body. Smokey dry bitter choc taste with whisky finish. Pretty good but not for the trouble to acquire.

Bottle at FoCo Stout Tasting 2013, courtesy of Armin. Thanks man! Pour is deep brown with a small tan head that quickly dissipated. Tangy, fruity, pears, green apples, raspberries, cocoa, and sour aroma. Taste is dark fruits, licorice, tangy, tannic, apples, pears, and blackberry with a medium sour finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Really a tragedy - another infected mess.

Growler @ Armin’s palace, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks! Pours a black appearance with a thin dark head. Dark chocolate, anise, raisin, a bit fruity aroma. Tangy raspberry, vinous fruity, vanilla, dark chocolate, a bit boozy flavor. This is one of the infected growlers, unfortunately. Not horrendous.
