Well, this is embarassing. I somewhat like the brown variant of this one, a correct beer to have at home and good to drink casually, but this one really doesn’t work. It tries to be good, being a bit stronger than other commercial shit lagers available, but the result really isn’t pleasing. Very light lemon aroma, bad aftertaste in mouth for a beer that tries way too hard overall. Not great. PARTIALLY APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Aroma; white bread, pale malts, floral notes, mild fruit. Look; off white cream head, crystal clear gold golden body. Taste; mild juicy bread, pale malts, hops in bread, some grains - leading to a slightly bitter but malty finish. Feel; soft, nice body. Overall; quite alright brew. Bottle in Côte, Woking. 13/08/16. More aroma than I expected, although vinegar is what came to mind. Dark gold. Bubbly. Sparse white head. Medium bitter, with a sharp bite to it. Light bodied, but smooth. More interesting than a lot of pale lagers.

Pours a faint white head with remote leech and light malt flavors. Yellow to light gold colored very clear body. No hop noticed in mouth. Some malt. Untasty pils. Not much to say. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

van ’t vat. Goudblond bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: moutzoetig, fruitig. Smaak: fruitig, lichtjes abrikoos. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht zoetig en licht bitter. Aangename pils.

Keg at Hotel Elissaldia, Bidart. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of light malt, white sugar, corn, diacetyl. Taste is faint herbs, honey and astringent malt. Clean finish, if a little buttery and thin.

0,5L can at Camping Kost-Ar-Moor. Clear golden with thick fluffy white head. Sweet malts, honey sweetness, pils hops, light chalky. Light sweet, light bitter. Medium body, average carbonation, light chalky texture. Average little sweetish pilsner, I like the soft chalkiness.

Dont be fooled, even if the Heineken-group owns this brewery the Pelforth-beers has their own character intact. A clean good (a bit) malty character with a hint of hops appearing in the aftertaste. Slightly bitter and sour but unlike others I do not find it to be even close to watery. Nice white creamy foam. Mybe not extraordinary but a clean, fresh high-quality beer I have come to appreciate after living some time in France. My French favorite beer.

500 ml can in Provence. Golden with white head. Aroma malty, slight honey and light yeast. Taste is malty with some honey notes. OK
