Poured brown with a huge dense beige head. Aroma is dark fruits, caramel and sweet malty. Medium bodied. Flavour is fruity and malty. Very good dunkel. JoeMcPhee (3815), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Sep 13, 2008 12 oz can. The first beer of my European vacation (it’s late, I’m tired, and this was the only thing interesting at the corner store). Pours a deep brown colour with ruddy highlights and a thick creamy tan head. Aroma is quite sweet and malty. Some light molasses and brown sugar over a light plumminess as well. A touch of soft spiciness and a chewy rye-bread graininess that I quite enjoy. Lingering lightly yeast character on the back. Quite a simple but pretty tasty brew. Storm (2683), Amager, Denmark Sep 6, 2008 50 cl can. Hollyday in France. Reddish clear brown colour with a huge dense white head. Aroma and flavour of fruit and chocolate. Pretty nice and with a high drinkability. Ends up sweet and hints of "bananasplint"
