Clear medium to dark red brown - amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, tobacco, dried berry - fruit, raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110319]

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. A lovely ruby-ish color in this one, on the brown side though, with a minimal-sized off-white to beige head. The aroma is hard to disintegrate, the scents melt together, but there seems to be dried fruits, caramel and some fruityness. A roasted touch too. The flavor is nice, but as with the aroma it’s hard to say what’s there. Medium to full body. Lasting finish, dry and roasted. A nice one. 110319

Pours deep lovely ruby red with a small, creamy, off-white head. Very sweet malty aroma, some brewing cereal and caramel. Medium carbonation, fair and lightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour starts sweet and malty, lightly roasted and some chocolate. Soft hoppy and flowery finish.
