COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Categorie: I

On tap at the brewpub. Clear light-amber colour, fluffy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, a bit of sweet fruity hops, light malty. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, caramel, light butterscotch, very light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Could easily be mistaken for a Belgian amber ale. Lacks a whole lot of hops and oomph to be called an IPA imho. Not an unpleasant beer though.

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear orange to copper color, small white to off-white head. Smell malts, just lightly hops. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly some fruits and some bitter. Low to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ home shared with Ansjelaah and Benzai. Clear orange to copper colour with a small white head. Smells quite malty and not very hoppy for an IPA. Tastes malty, slightly caramel and slightly hoppy and bitter. Not really an IPA. Not aweful though. Thinnish body, crisp carbo.

Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 4, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized bit airy but still pretty vast and with regular speed changing creamy foamy head on top of a clear darker orange amber colored beer. Aroma is actually hops, malts and hop & malt fruits. Bit more hoppy but nothing like those American hopped IPA’s, but not bad at all. Flavours of hops, bitters, resin, malts, floral, hint of caramel, grapefruit, peach, herbs. Aftertaste bitter, floral, hops, some malts. Low carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. Decent IPA.

Big 75 cl bottle from Bierwinkel in Leiden. Nice IPA, a bit flat. Less hop than expected. Not as bitter as US IPA’s.

Draft at the source. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of fruity pine. Taste starts malty sweet, but balanced with a bitter finish. Decent.
