2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rosenbergh (3145) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2011
Draught at Brouwerij de Pelgrim, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Hazy orange golden colour with frothy white head.
Wheat, mild citrus and yeast in aroma. Wheat, yeast and mild bitterness in aroma. Doesn’t do the trick for me.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 PotjeBier (425) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2011
On tap @ Doelencafe. Straw blond color, hazy. Firm white head, good lacing. Aroma’s of wheat, malt, hops and some spices. Flavor is lightly sweet’n’bitter, a hint of acidity. Rather bitter finish. Not what I’d expect from a witbier but quite pleasant.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 imdownthepub (7131) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2010
Keg at Brouwerij De Pelgrim, Rotterdam. Clouded orange with white head. Spiced and again quite dry, there is a herby background a little reminiscent of Campari & Soda. The spicing probably takes over too much but still a reasonable beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour. Fruity with appropriate bitterness without resorting to spices. Quite nice.

On tap @ De Pelgrim, Delfshaven Rotterdam. Aroma has yeast, citrus, hops. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a white, lasting head. The taste is yeasty, citric, bit hoppy. Dry and refreshing finish. Good one in the style.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 marcus (3763) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 19, 2009
This cloudy yellow beer poured with a frothy white head and a typical banana aroma. There is a standard witbier flavor, slightly sour with banana ester and a coriander orange peel finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rastacouere (5900) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 16, 2007
An honest-looking cloudy dark yellow shade covered by a foamy white head. Rather fizzy all along, but this does not help to hide the overwhelming coriander. Sure it’s a witbier, but it does not have to be one-dimensional about it. Its wheatiness is almost impossible to perceive behind the lemony character and bland bready yeast. Quick, dryish and coriander laden finish.
