You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout...Bad Santa has arrived. This mysterious dark elixir is filled with complex malt flavors and aromas. The toasted malt and roast character blend seamlessly to the alluring citrus and herbal hop aroma that comes from copious amounts of Ahtanum hops.

Black with good, foamy tan head / Nose of citrus, pine, and dark caramel / Medium body, just a hint of sweetness but otherwise dry, some chew and good hop bite, with excellent balance and bitter finish / Flavors of dark caramel, toast, pine, and grapefruit / Not exceptional in any one aspect, just solid and balanced throughout.

August mahogany colored and topped with a caramel cream head. Feint pine and chocolate mint nose. While the aromas of this beer are fairly restrained, the body is quite roasty for a CDA. Black patent coffee notes infuse the beer with hearty coffee notes. Lighter piny hops at some resin and bitterness. Mild chocolate and pine finish.

12 oz bottle poured. Pours black with a ton of swirl tan head and lace. I planned on pairing this with the movie with the same name, but I donít watch movies anymore. Big toasty malt aroma and flavor. Smokey hint in the finish. Mild vanilla. Nice winter beer here.

Bottle. Dark brown color with about a finger of tan head, light bits of webby lacing. The nose is roast and light chocolate, sweet overall, and hints of pine. Taste is a little bitter, but moderate roast and hops. More floral than pine. Hints of chalkiness... Not bad though. Overall enjoyable CDA.
