3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at pint defiance. Pours a clear bronzed medium amber with a loose white head. Sweet tangy tropical fruit nose, oranges and mangos and apricots. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel and a great tropical fruit hop showcase on the mid palate, with a long oily hop bitey finish. Good beer.

Bomber. This is a great IPA! Pours deeply red with lots of copper overtones. Sudsy white film over the top of that. Big pine blossoms on the nose, softened with an almost palpable creaminess...vanilla? I donít know where that note is coming from or how to describe it. Maybe one small part of this beerís mission was to wake me up to the realization that itís best when having something *good* about a beer be the part you canít put your finger on. Itís not like I was in any danger of thinking I knew it all, but this beer has a pleasant mystery to the fragrance.
The taste is unambiguously great. This is probably my favorite of the pine-dominated IPAs (if there is such a grouping of beers). At least, it is for the foreseeable future, which is never very long with beer. Thereís plenty of softness to the body, but itís not watery at all; itís rich and even a bit raw at the end. Some bubbly harshness at the back of the throat is perfect for a beer with such a nicely dried, bitter finish. I could not only drink this beer all day, Iíd set aside a day to do it.

22oz bottle. Crisp clear orange with foamy white head. Acidic hop aroma, great. Body is more roundly malty with aroma hops dominating. Tart bitter hop finish. Quite nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, dense, frothy and creamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of soapy lacing. Aroma is citrusy pines and florals with somewhat spicy resins and a touch of caramel. Flavor is similar. Lots of citruses with a bit of a juicy sweetness, pines, florals, a bunch of resins with a light spiciness, and a touch of caramel towards the end. Finishes dry, resiny, and bitter with plenty of juicy citruses. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a very enjoyable IPA. Lots of juicy, resiny, piney, and floral citruses with just a touch of caramel. Good one.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very citrusy cascade notes on the nose, very citrusy/spicy hop flavor without being overly bitter. Great mouthfeel & smooth semisweet finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours a very clear golden orange color with a nice frothy head that quickly fades. Big webbing on the glass. Spicy and citrus hop aroma with some malt as well. Taste is heavy on the citrus hops but not too much. Strong bitterness and very tingly spicy finish. Nice malt backbone as well. A really good IPA but a bit too citrusy for my liking. Love the spicy finish though.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This poured a light orange color with a beige head. Aroma was of a moderate amount of citrusy hops, and some caramel malt. Flavor was similar, bitter hops, flavor seems to have faded a bit and made way for more of the malt to come through unfortunately.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours an orange color with a lasting, frothy off white head. The aroma is very strong with intense florals, grapefruit, pine and hints of caramel. The flavor is again, very floral with a good balance of grapefruit, flowers, pine and hints of caramel malt. Very bitter, almost woody finish. Maybe a bit heavy on the caramel malt, but the potent cascade character is very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is really bright and fruity. A bit of lean malt and some bright hoppiness. Dry-hopped grassiness and a lingering bitterness. A nice bright fruitiness and a soft peppery flavour. Lovely.

Clear golden pour with a huge creamy head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is very strong of citrus. Mouth is creamy. Taste is slightly spicy with citrus, pine & a little sugar. Really nicely balanced. I could drink this on frequently.
