Orangish color, light head. Christmas tree hops! Flavor is citrus and pine trees. Light caramel notes too. Good IPA. Pelican is a solid brewery.

22 oz bottle. In Hawaii Tasting with IslandHaole. Thanks Dan! Clear golden color with a small white head. Sweet fruity hops, sweetness and malt in a balanced aroma. Yummy! The flavor is grapefruity and resiny hops, moderate bitterness, some darkness and maltiness. Balanced! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle... SMAACMSM O-Town Throwdown, Part Sept... Clear golden ale with a small, fat-bubbled, white head. The earthy, floral nose also provides a blend of tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Straight-up grapefruit rind-like bitterness. Low residual sugar. Finishes bitter and a touch dry. Thanks to darkguardian for sharing the bottle!

On tap at Pelican Pub in Pacifc City. Pours a clear gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and pine. Thin mouth, citrus, crisp, lingering bitterness, very good.

Itís like pouring liquid amber into the glass - itís incredibly beautiful, and the image is completed by the huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of spruce, grass and other more fruity and citrussy hop notes - itís promising! The flavour has a light caramel sweetess, delicious notes of citrus, spruce, grass and itís very clean. The citrus returns in the rather dry finish! Nice and well balanced - thank you Tom/After4ever for this nice beer!

Bottle from Brock_Landers. Deep golden pour with huge, fluffy head. Aroma of huge piney hops, tropical fruit. The flavor is hoppy, very fruity, with a solid caramel malty backbone. Yeah, this one does get a little hot, but I didnít notice it until the very end. Worth seeking out!

651mL thanks to 3fourths. Pours clear orange with decent head retention. Spotty lace. Nose is heavy orange candies, toffee, caramel, onion. Some nice apricot and peach. Taste is rich and chewy, oranges, dried apricot, quenching caramel. Very nice. Great palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2010-06-28. Crisp golden body with a nice off-white head and lace. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, lemon-grapefruit blend, muted leafy hop notes. 7+ Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, modest citrus, citrus seeds, and a kiss of resin. 7+ Average plus bodied palate is appropriate for the beer. Solid IPA but I had pretty high expectations from anticipation, so it was a disappointment when it was just very good and not excellent. Just a little more citrus would have taken it over the top. Sampler at the brewpub, Pacific City.

Brewpub. Bright orange amber with an orange-tinted head. Aroma is of powerful grapefruit and resin, a huge hop blast. Juicy hoppy palate backed by sweet, slightly toasty malts. Massive flavours in perfect balance. Beautiful!
