Sampled at OBF 2010. Not creamy at first but it mellows into a nice sparkly light ale. Would be interesting to try on nitro.

2010-06-28. Crisp yellow body with a small white head and nice lace. 3+ Flavour has pleasant light bitterness, floral briefly, modest bitterness throughout with light grassy accents. 6+ Lightly floral grassy hop aroma. Average plus bodied palate. Pretty solid for what I assume is their "entry level" beer. Pretty decent start! Sampler at the brewpub, Pacific City.

22oz bottle. Pours a clear bright light honey golden with big tight creamy head with good retention and nice light lacing. Nose is slightly floral, with touches of creamy corn, hay, light grassy hops and touches of mineral. Lght somewhat creamy body with lively tight mineral water like carbonation. Some sweet floral honey and corn, crisp ’crackery’ malt, touch of pepper and Nobel piney hops. Really crisp and enjoyable, would buy this frequently if it was available to me locally.

Bottle, purchased from the brewery, bottling date is March 2010. Pours a clear golden yellow with a soft pillowy head. Aroma is grainy with hints of bread and hay. Flavour is chiefly biscuity malt, with just a whiff of hop bitterness in the finish. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.

A shared tasting with Strykzone via Facebook chat. This poured a very clear gold with lost of bubbles and a fat white head and decent lacing. Nose is grassy, grainy, and light fruit aromas Body is light and the mouthfeel a lively sort of like champagne. The flavor is soft, with grassy and floral notes bad some citrus hops adding some bitterness that continues over into the finish, A very enjoyable and well done version of the style.

Thanks Hayduke who I am sharing with via Facebook chat. A big bubbly almost white head that has good retention. Body is clear, golden, with active carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma is grass, grain, and fruit. Flavor is also grass, soft hops that are gentle fruit. Some light grain and a bit of earth. Everything here is understated, soft, and gentle. Finish had a bit of butter. A champagne aspect here. This would make a great session beer and is interesting and nicely understated. Well done.
