Draught at Thai Smiles, Portland
Hazy blond color. Paper and bread aroma, dry and weak mouthfeel, papery malt flavor, relatively low bitterness. Not bad, just very boring.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour at the Tavern Hall. From notes. Pours a clear golden color with a lot of fizz. No head. Smooth, creamy flavor with a sweet fruity grain aroma. I seem to think most cream ales are much of the same, though this one was on the flavorful side, which is good. Overall, not bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. Pours golden with minimal head and pour head retention. The aroma is a sweet maltiness, soft floral hopping note. The flavor is grainy, malty, light floral and fruity notes. This is a solid cream ale. Delicate. Nice.

I avoided buying this beer for years because I thought it would taste like an orange creamsicle beer. It must have been the name and the orange label.

09.29.14 best by.
Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 07.16.14.
A: Sweet flower. Maybe citrus too. Nice.
A: Completely see through straw yellow. The head recedes quickly to a ring.
T: Flower with a malt backbone dominate. Grass is subtle.
O: It had a nice floral flavor and was very well balanced. It was very good for a cream ale. It was just a very laid-back and subtle beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light golden color. Quick dissipating white head. Lots of honey and floral notes, but slightly astringent when it should be smooth. Low hops. Not really that impressive, but refreshing I guess.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, pours bright pee yellow. Malty, sweet nose, probably it’s best quality. Sharp, biting malt beer.
