COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of the Scottish Export style is coppery amber in color and features a mild, malty aroma. The malty flavor is balanced with Willamette hops to add a little "snap" to the flavor and finish of this rich ale.

A bit disappointed in this. While pouring, it looks like a dirty copper, but in the glass it looks like wood stain with a soapy head. Not much in the aroma. Malt. Flavor is lacking. There is nothing distinctive about it. Malt, with a very mild bitterness at the end. Low carbonation. Feels a bit thin, but still sticky mouth feel. For the price, this is definitely not worth it. Very mild ale with not much to it.

Not going to waste too much time on this one. Mine was flat, dull, and soapy. Never been a fan of this style though... Some one else may like it better. Some one tasteless.

Bomber from Bertís Growler Garage. Not as "dirty" or earthy as others in this style, picking up more sweetness. Also realized itís well past its shelf life (ex. 11.29.14, thank you Pelican for dating your beers!), but its held up very well. Will have to try again fresh. Caramel and some toffee, light bodied.

On tap at Capitol Beer and Tap Room. Pours amber with a rich beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a watery dark malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish.

By far my favorite beer. It is not too hoppy, IBU 16, and is very refreshing with an alcohol of 5%. Found it at Grocery Outlet in Lincoln City and will go back and buy them out. Love this beer on a hot afternoon, wonderful!

Pours a brownish body with a frothy head. Nose of roasted malt. Flavour is a tad sweet for me. Purchased at Pilgrimís Market in Coeur díAlene.

Iím not very impressed. Someone from Pelican was offering samples so I bit and long story short, itís not that great. Itís not bad either, but it is bland, lifeless and uninspiring. The only thing I notice is a slightly bitter aftertaste. Seriously, there just ainít much going on here. As a Scotsman this disappoints me.
