4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours medium tan, little head. Slightly sweet and even more slightly spicy aroma. Body is rich and slightly syrupy, almosy creamy. Finish starts with slight bitterness and then opens up to be malty and a little sweet. Maybe not try enough to be totally true to style, but really delicious, a lovely session beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. This was a nice ESB, pouring a clear copper with a smooth white head. Lots of hops give a big floral aroma. The citrus hops balance out the beer against the toasty herbal malts with a light fruitiness.

On tap at the brewpub. Bright orange with a lacy white cap. Nutty toffee and grassy aroma, a little piney. Flavours of toffee, orange, slightly spicy, quenching bitter finish. Quite complex actually, very good.

rated 4/19/03 Tea colored amber with a light off white head, and floral hop aroma. Hops are fairly well balanced with a touch of malt for a rather smooth finish, very enjoyable.

Tap at the brewpub and sampled 5/14/05 Disclaimer: This rating may be skewed, as I had just finished the 55 mile leg of the Reach the Beach charity bike ride ... and it was served in a plastic cup. Díoh
Poured red and clear with a small head. It left a decent lace, considering the plastic(?!) cup. Aroma was hoppy and woody with a slight sweetness going on. Most likely caramel. Flavor was piney and grassy hops with a little bit of a sweetness there, too. It was very refreshing after a day of pedalling my ass off.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured a dark orange with a fluffy, off-white head. Easy drinking, very smooth. Malty with hops that created a leafy earthiness. Clean finish. One step behind a pale ale. Solid ESB.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours a clear orange-hued copper color with an inch of beige sea foam head. Mild grassy hops character in the aroma in addition to some lightly toasted malt and caramel. The taste has more of an herbal hops quality to it along with notes of orange citrus and pineapple. Thereís also a strong bready malt and toffee backbone balancing out the hops. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy with strong carbonation and a bitter, fruity finish. Itís a solid ESB and a good beer to pair with brewpub fare.
