4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Really liked this light IPA. Had it on tap at the brewery. It has a nice tangerine theme running through your sips. Not very hoppy but I like it that way. Smooth with a finished taste the the other Pelicans.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear orange-gold with big, foamy white head / Subdued, musty nose of dried citrus, resin, and clothes closet / Medium body, lively carbonation, dry, a touch thin, with otherwise good balance and bitterness / Mellow but elegant flavors of tangerine peel, soap, resin, herb, and straw / Once I got over the notion that this isnít an American-style pale, I really enjoyed it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium to low hop bitterness. Has a slight floral and herb hop aroma. Has that oaky english IPA taste to it which I am not all that big on but less of it than others Iíve tried. Easy to drink. Decent IPA.

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
English style IPA which nicely balances the forward hops with drinkability. You get more of the greeny hop flavor on first sip and bitterness is much more reserved. You could drink a lot of it. Refreshing and a good example of the style.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at 16 Tons, Eugene. Decided to give this a try, Pelicanís regular IPA is a long time favorite. Pours a golden color with little head, medium body aroma is pleasantly floral, but the finish is too imbalanced, heavy on bitter, resinous notes. It gets a few back for its complexity, but overall, I was unimpressed.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (9/12/12 bottled on date). Slightly murky copper/yellow pour with a froth of off-white foam. Aroma is dry, restrained bitter hops with a grassy character, minimal pine, and a somewhat thin but sweet malt backbone. Taste is clean, earthy hops bitterness with light pine and a sweet malt backbone but itís not overly heavy or distracting. Clean mouthfeel. A fresher bottle would have been nice but itís mail order so you get what you get. Overall though I like the presentation and balance. Nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours clear golden with a decent off-white head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor that sticks to the palate and a dry finish. Mildly bitter.
