COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stillwell #1 is our inaugural release from our brand new Tillamook facility, named after our new address in downtown Tillamook, at the corner of Stillwell and First Street. The beer is a Golden Ale made up of Pale Ale malt, biscuity Melanoidin malt, and floral, spicy notes from Mt. Hood and Sterling hops. A moderate hop finish balances the rich malt profile of this beer and copious dry-hopping gives Stillwell #1 an assertive hop aroma. 5% abv.

Poured from tap to glass. Straw hue with nice fluffy white head. Aroma is noble hops, resin, pine, hue. Taste is dry sweet initially, malt backbone, and a smooth slight estery sulphuric finish. Mouthfeel is nice with a moderate body and nice carbonation. Overall this is a nice brew.

Draught:   Golden, slightly fiery, moderate carbonation, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Sweet straw/hay on the nose, soft hops, a little cracker and pith too.   Bright and sharp, pith, citrus peel, straw, hay, grassy, soft bitterness.   This reminds me of the Golden Ale from years gone by, at the Flying Pig, where one could buy an imperial pint for $2.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Strong hay/straw on the finish, along with light to moderate bitterness, some citrus peel and pith.   Overall a well rounded and solid Golden Ale.   Reminds me of my youth, a lot!

Tap at Pelican brewpub. Pours a clear golden with medium to higher white foam. Nose is cream soda, fresh juice, fresh lemondrop, candied orange. Taste is buttery biscuit, richer grain, noble type squashy hops. Nice English hopped golden ale all around. Great balanced palate with malt showcasing.
