COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Midnight black color and rich dark-roasted aroma. Specially blended hops combine with flaked unmalted barley to give this brew a full body and a dense creamy head. All elements combine in a solid, lingering finish.

Deep black pour with a bit of tight brown head. The aroma is awesome. Roasted barley and some darker toasted malt as well. A bit of dark chocolate and some nice lingering bitterness. Really damn tasty brew.

Bottle: Dark, jet black with a tan head. Sweet aromas of malts, tanginess, and cardboard. Flavors of chocolate malt with a full body and thin aftertaste. A bitter trailer for the finish which follows sweetness, which I appreciate.

Nice, roasted, parched soy nut aroma, lightly sweet. Inky, good painted bomber. Nicely bitter - a good mix of roast and hops. Strongly bitter coffee aftertaste. Slightly heavy body. Mostly dry, a little black pepper, very slightly herbal, bitter cocoa. Thanks to Triock for hauling this back from his northwest vacation and sharing with the office.
