Deep midnight black color, medium tan foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. WOW! Bid full bodied Dry stout. Roasted malt flavor. Coffee and chocolate, slightly sweet at the start and then transform into a dry hoppy finish. Bid bold flavor, yet nothing is overpowering. The sweetness is balanced by the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is smooth and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, more of a chocolate bitterness than a hop bitterness. Well deserving of the GABF Gold Medal. Painted/ Etched Beer bottle.

Another fine beer from Pelican. Enjoyed a bomber with a friend. Pitch black color with a nice brown head. Huge hops flavor and full robust body that has flavors of toffee and chocolate. Well done indeed

22oz bomber pours pure darkness with a thin mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up earthy to dark roasted maltiness as well as lesser amounts of burnt malts and chocolate malt balls. The taste is similar with rich dark roasted malt goodness, molasses infused earthy malts, chocolate malt balls and a sliver of spicy black licorice. Wow! The flavors just keep enhancing each other in harmony. I love this stuff.

Another great bottle from jsquire. This is a dark stout with a whipped tan head. The nose is full of chocolate, vanilla and some coffee. The taste is that of more chocolate and as it warms the chocolate becomes more defined as dark chocolate. The vanilla is subtle and tempers the coffee bean flavors. This is a full bodied stout with superior mouthfeel. This is wave after wave of flavor and aroma. OUTSTANDING!!

Bottle, purchased from the brewery 2 months ago. Pours a viscous near-black with a slow-to-rise brown head. Aroma of bakers chocolate, clay, raisins, cherries, and hints of vanilla. Luxurious silky mouthfeel. Richly flavoured, with chocolate, coffee, dark fruits with nice intensity. A special beer for my 3000th rating!
