500ml Bottle - Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted aroma with chocolate and a hint of coffee. Fairly bitter and roasted taste with plain chocolate and malt featuring followed by a bitter and roasted finish.

Bottle, Madame Fromage, Cardiff. Deep dark brown colour with a light brown head. Aroma was roasty malt, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Flavour was milky and quite soft, with dark chocolate. Body was lacking slightly. Finished dry. Good not great.

Deep black tan head. Ridiculously chocolatey with burnt malts and alcohol. lovely aromas. Acidic smokey charcoaled chocolate flavours and fast wet finish. Good home brew feel with a few extra handfuls of chocolate malt for good luck.

Bottle. Chocolate aroma, some berries in the also. Reminds me of a port. Black in colour with a great looking frothy brown bread head. Smooth texture, chocolate, smoked hops, coffee. Warming beer, velvet in a glass. Quality ale, yet keeps that home made feel. Good tasty stout.
