Not overly flavoured, gold, clean and a bit under powered as far as the hops are concerned. A bit gassy too. Screams quality though.

Bottled. Clear golden, coarse head. Fruity viola aroma. Fairly sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied. Rather malty. Low bitterness. On the sweet side.

(Bottled) resembles a germanic pills in color , more bohemian to drink ; good fruity saaz citrus vibes intertwined with a sweet palate , i got subtle toffee pudding notes , grainy dryness. Nice quality.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Deep gold in colour with no head and slight carbonation. Sweetish, marmalade malts, a touch of leafy hop and bitter finish. As said below, an ale rather than lager, but drinkable enough.

Bottle at thewolf’s Kolding tasting, 15 May 2008. Rather surprised to come to a tasting in Denmark only to see a whole bunch of bottles that I could have bought from the organic food shop at the end of my street at home (but hadn’t). Perhaps one might expect this to be a grown up version of the Lambs Gold tasted immediately before. Well, it might have a little bit more weight, as one might expect, but the overall impression is still gold, clean and insubstantial. Perfectly drinkable but seemed underpowered and under-hopped to me. Almost certainly an ale made with lager ingredients rather than a true lager.

Bottle at the legend of chriso’s pre GBBF09 tasting. Alround rating: Very yeasty, nutty pale malt, the yeast is like some mildue covered ornage. Which isnt hot.
